Determination of moisture content
Generally, the drying method is used, which means that the activated carbon is dried at a constant temperature of (150 ± 5) ℃ for more than 2 hours until it reaches a constant weight, and the moisture content is expressed as the percentage of the lost moisture mass to the original sample mass. As activated carbon is a highly porous adsorbent, the longer it is left in the air, the more water it adsorbs, which directly affects its adsorption performance.
